You kinda have to hit me in the head with a mallet a couple times if you want me to listen/learn from you and admit that I may be wrong if I’m not in the mood to do that. If I’m not in the mood, then I’ll argue with you until you admit I’m right or until my logical side forces me to retreat.
I don’t think I could ever not believe God exists. Everything I’ve seen, all I’ve learned, tells me there is a god or ‘higher power’.
And I don’t think I could ever be convinced that He doesn’t care about me or you or anyone else.
It’s everything else that trips me up.

A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic - on the level with a man who says he is a poached egg - or he would be the devil of hell. You must take your choice. Either this was, and is, the Son of God, or else a madman or something worse. You can shut Him up for a fool or you can fall at His feet and call Him Lord and God.
